Interview

How do you keep up with taking notes during the courses?

Yes I do keep notes. During the courses, I take unorganized notes to a notebook first. Then I organize and add them to its own place in the document under the folder structure Google Drive. Other than that, if I was watching the video of a course I may become slower and more organized. In general, I think my overall efficiency of taking notes is quite low. I constantly seek better methods to take notes.

Have you ever asked to share your notes? If so, how do you share them? (segmentation→ content creator or consumer or both)

Nope, as far as I remember for graduate.

What kind of extra resources do you look for your courses?

I usually feel an urge to perceive the different approaches to the same subject and the distinctions between the schools of instructors. It is not limited to the lecture though, it could also be a book. I am inclining to find extra resources to understand varying perspectives, see the subject from bird’s eye view, relationship between the components and grasp the chronology. The media of it does not matter. Could be a schematic, a book, an article or a video.

Sometimes instructors assumes that I know some aspects of the subject before and I may not be able to access that information at the time. I try to extract those references to create an information map.

How do you find your study resources?

Before course program starts, I go to the introduction of the course (module catalog) and list the resources mentioned here to initiate a side examination. I download those resources and create an archive for the course.

What kind of subjects require a lot of external resources?

Foundational subject as linear algebra... In these, it is possible to find lots of external resources with a variety of views.
